Karen Pickens

Karen began her counseling training in the early 2000's. During that time, the Lord instilled in her a greater desire to be a lifetime student of His Word.  She realized the importance of "being ready to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you", 1 Peter 3:15.  She served in the counseling ministry at Grace Baptist Church, St. Charles, MO for 13 years. In 2021, she moved to Springfield, MO to be near her family.

Karen has a passion for counseling and discipleship. She desires to help ladies in whatever season or situation of life they find themselves in, by pointing them to Christ, and walking alongside them as they take that next step.

She is a member of True North Baptist Church, and the Administrative Assistant to Pastor Nix. Karen loves to study, enjoys early morning walks, reading, listening to The Collingsworth Family, golf, and watching old movies.
